Shri Amalner Teerth




Shri Amalner Teerth is a famous Jain Teerth located at Amalner, about 55 km from Jalgaon, in Maharashtra. The temple enshrines a 27 cm high, black-colored idol of Bhagvan Girua Parshwanath in the Padmasana posture. It is believed that the idol in this temple is about 500-years old.

The temple was built by Shri Sangha in 1920 of the Vikram era. Thousands of devotees visit the temple every year.

Shri Amalner Teerth is about two kilometers from Amalner Railway Station.
