Shree Venkataramana Temple




Situated at Car-Street in Mangalore, Shree Venkataramana Temple is a two-hundred year old temple dedicated to Lord Venkataramana. The idol is decorated with kirita makuta, kundalas in ears, haras with pendants, and an ornament referred to as channavira on the abdomen. The main deity is flanked on both sides by Sridevi and Bhudevi. Other idols in the temple include Sri Veera Vittala, Sri Moola Venkataramana, Sri Utsava Srinivasa, Parivara Sri Ganapathi Devaru and Parivara Hanumntha Devaru. Yugadhi, Shree Ram Navami and Hanumanth Jayanthi are the prominent festivals celebrated here.
