Lying on Barkagaon Road in the south-west of Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, Shree Ramakrishna Shanti Ashram provides spiritual enlightenment and service to humanity. The ashram preaches the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Service to the poor and needy ones is offered.
There is a temple of Ramakrishna established in 1962. This temple houses the statues of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Holy Mother Saradamoni Debi (Sarada Devi) and Swami Vivekananda. A temple in memory of Himanshu Maharaj, Goddess Bhavani temple and a Shiva temple are there inside the campus. The Ashram has two sub centers in West Bengal, one at Berhampore and other at Kharagpur.
Kodarma and Hazaribagh railway stations are nearby. Ranchi Airport is the nearest airport.
