Shree Jnanashakthi Subramanyaswamy Temple



Shree Jnanashakthi Subramanyaswamy Temple is at Pavanje and is situated on the Mangalore-Udupi National Highway 17. Pavanje is about 20 km from Mangalore.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Muruga. It has a beautifully carved idol of Lord Shree Jnanashakthi Subrahmanyaswamy. The idol is of special significance because of the fusion of three divine powers in one, that is of Lord Shiva, Shakti and Subramanya. The temple also has another deity of Annappa Swamy, seated at the right side of Shri Subramanya.

Annual celebrations such as the Shasti Mahotsava during the month of Margasheersh (November-December) and Rathotsava (car festival are celebrated on grand scale).
