Shiva Temple




Established in the 18th century by King Rajeswar Singh, Shiva Temple is located on a beautiful hillock, about 20 km from Golaghat. The main sanctum of the temple enshrines the Bana Lingam which is centrally embedded in a large slab. Niches on the temple walls house images of various deities. There are separate sanctums for Ganesh, Vishnu, Surya and Goddess Durga. Thousands of devotees attend the Pradosham and Shivratri festivals.
