Shiv Bari Temple




Shiv Bari Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at Udaipur, in South Tripura District, Tripura. It is believed to be the adobe of Tripuresh Bhairav. This temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, enshrines a beautiful Shivling.

Shiv Bari Temple was constructed by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya. The temple was later repaired by Maharaja Kalyan Manikya in 1651. The present temple was renovated by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya.

The architectural specialty of this temple is that its door faces west. Hundreds of devotees visit this shrine daily.

Kumarghat Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
