Shish Gunbad, also known as Shish Gumbad and Glaze Dome, is situated at
Lodi Gardens in
Delhi. This square-shaped dome was constructed during the reign of Sikander Lodhi, for one of his ministers.
Shish Gunbad is a two-storied structure with projecting cornices, iwan frames and arches. The portal frieze has square panels, which is decorated with imported cobalt-blue glazed tiles from Persia.
