Shirwal

Shirval



Shirwal is a village situated on the banks of Nira River, 17 km south of Purandhar, in Pune District. It lies on National Highway 4, right on the district’s southern border with Satara District. Pune, the district headquarters, is about 46 km north of Shirwal.

Bhatghar Lake, Mahabaleshwar, Purandhar Fort, Khadakwasla Lake and the pilgrim center of Jejuri are places of tourist interest in the area.

Pune Lohegaon Airport and Jejuri Railway Station serve Shirwal.
