At an altitude of 12,477 ft from the mean sea level, Shila is a beautiful hamlet in Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about five kilometers from Padum.
Shila is flanked by Silapi in the north and Reru in the south. The Zanskar River flows through this place. Burdan Gompa is a nearby attraction.
