Shidi Ghat




Shidi Ghat is a famous tourist spot lying along the trekking route that leads to Bhimashankar, in Pune District. It is very close to Ganesh Ghat. The name ‘Shidi’ means ‘ladder’. Trekking to this ghat is more dangerous than other treks in the state and hence could be appealing for an adventure enthusiast. On the way to the ghat, one would come across three ladders, a small settlement, a dense forest with a pond and a beautiful temple. Nearest airport is at Pune. Pune Junction Railway Station serves Bhimashankar. The nearest bus station is at Karjat which is about 40 km from Khandas.
