Srinagar of
Jammu and Kashmir, Sher Garhi was an erstwhile home of the Dogra rulers. For some time, it was also used as a secretariat building of the state government. The exterior of the palace is quite impressive. The priceless collection of papier-mache paintings preserved in the house was despoiled by a fire a few years ago.
