Shekhawati Festival is celebrated in the
Shekhawati region of
Rajasthan. Every year, it is held on the 10th and 11th day of the month of February. The festival is organized jointly by the State Department of Tourism and district administrations of
Sikar,
Jhunjhunu and
Churu.
Shekhawati Festival offers a unique essence of Shekhawati for tourists. During the festival, local traditional games such as satolia, roundar balla, hardara and lunkyar are organized to revive and promote them. Folk art forms such as mehandi, mandana and bandhej are also included in the list of events organized during this festival.
