Shayam Chand Temple

Shayam Chand Temple is a highly revered shrine located at Shantipur in Nadia District of West Bengal. It is about 20 km from Krishnanagar. Shayam Chand Temple is built in traditional 'at-chala' (literally meaning eight spires) style. The at-chala is a superstructure duplicated by the char-chala, one above the other. This temple with its exquisite architecture is a major attraction not only for the devotees, but also for tourists as well.
