Sharanabasaveshwar Public School is located at
Gulbarga city of
Karnataka. The school was established in 1967 by Dr. Sharanabasawappa Appa. It is approved by the Government of Karnataka and is managed by a registered society by name Sharanabasaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sanga. The ‘Kayaka’ and ‘Dasoha’ philosophies of education are followed. Students are given training for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Pre-University Certificate (PUC) Board Examinations. Merit scholarships are awarded to improve the intellectual ability of the students.
The campus houses a well-stocked library, open-air auditorium, and an audio-visual room. Lodging facility with modern amenities is arranged. The campus also has a Montessori House that offers Montessori education for children in the age group of 2 to 6 years. Various extra-curricular activities are also conducted.
