Shangse is a small village located in the southern part of
Leh District,
Jammu and Kashmir. This village is bounded by
Kuru in the northern side and Tangso in the southern side. It is the place where the trekking routes from Thyok and
Lakong meet.
Shangse can be reached from Chumik Marpo and Phugthal.
