Shambavi School of Dance is located at Shambhavi's Dance Village, about 11 km from the city of
Bangalore. Founded by Vyjayanthi Kashi, a renowned dancer and choreographer, the school aims to foster and encourage the exchange of dances and dance related activities in India and abroad.
Activities organized by the school include short term and long term dance courses, dance performances, dance festivals, music concerts and presentation of dramas. Also, site seeing expeditions are arranged to places of artistic importance in Karnataka.
The Shambavi School of Dance houses a health spa that uses dance therapy for the emotionally disturbed, physically handicapped and mentally retarded. Treatments also include massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga and music.
