Shahwarwada Palace

Built in 1736, Shahwarwada Palace stands testimony to the legacy of the Peshwas in Pune. Pune was the capital of the Maratha Empire and later became the Peshwa capital. In 1817, it was taken over by the British. At present, a scenic garden around the Shahwarwada Palace which retain symbols of heritage gives a glimpse of its glorious past.

The Pune Lohegaon Airport is the nearest airport. Pune Junction Railway Station, one of the important railway stations of Maharashtra, helps easy accessibility. It is also well-connected by an extensive road network.
