Shahdara is a charming village along the rail route connecting Guna and Ashoknagar, about 14 km north-west of Ashoknagar and 36 km north-east of Aron. Shri Bajrangarh Teerth, Bajrangarh Fort and Bhagwan Parsvanath Jinalaya Teerth are the major attractions nearby. The nearest airport is at Bhopal. Guna Railway Station and Ashok Nagar Railway Station serve Shahdara.
