Shad Iynti Dance




Shad Iynti Dance is an indigenous march dance of Meghalaya. This dance is performed during state receptions or any other similar celebrations.

The dancers move in a marching style waving their swords and a traditional brush-like object called ‘sympiah.’ Music is provided using flutes and drums.
