Sevalaya



Sevalaya is a registered charitable organization to care orphans and the poor people. It was started by Mr V Muralidharan in 1988 with 5 children. The organization functions in Kasuva village, about 40 km west of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. The word Sevalaya means ‘temple of service’ and it serves the society irrespective of caste, creed, religion, language and gender. The organization runs an orphanage for boys and girls, free school, medical center, old age home, craft training center, library and a goshala to protect and raise cows.
