The primitive Negrito tribes, the Sentinelese live in
North Sentinel Island off the west coast of
South Andaman Island.
Perhaps, they are one of the few highly isolated human communities in the world today. The name is derived from the name of the island.
The Sentinelese are considered as the subsidiary to the Onges. They appear taller and healthy than the Onges, the Great Andamanese and the Jarawas. They use big bows and arrows for hitting their target with a precision.
