Senapati

Senapati is the administrative headquarters of Senapati District, in Manipur. It is a few kilometers off the National Highway 39 and is 75 km north of Imphal.

Shirui Kashung Peak and Khayang peak are two popularly known peaks in the neighborhood. Senapati is also well known for medicinal plants.

Nearest airport is at Imphal. Closest major railway station is at Silchar.
