Semiya Payasam

A traditional Kerala dessert, Semiya Payasam or Vermicelli Payasam is a milk based pudding prepared with fine noodles sautÚd in ghee and milk. It is then flavored with cardamom, pistachio, raisins and cashew nuts. Semiya Payasam is a perfect ending to a south Indian meal. The sumptuous ' Onasadya,' the feast on Onam, is always rounded up with this delicious dessert.
