Sedivalu




Sedivalu, a small village, is situated in the Minicoy Island of Lakshadweep. It has its own internal organization, customs and food habits. The village works as a gathering called Baemedu and has a Moopan or Bodukaka (head-man of the village) and Bodudatha (head-woman of the village). The internal organization of the village is headed by the Moopan. Mahl is the main language spoken. The village boat is known as Lanchi.
