Sedere Dance




Sedere is a folk dance form of Karnataka. It is performed to worship ‘Shakti’, the deity of power.

It is accompanied by the thriving sound of musical instruments. This form of dance is performed mainly by the scheduled castes and washer men of Bangalore and Hassan districts.
