Science City is a science museum and convention center located on the
Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, which snakes its way through the eastern fringe of
Kolkata. This 21st century marvel of science, communication and environment is the only institution of its kind in India.
The main attractions are the space theatre, space flight, dinosaurs alive, dynamotion, life in water, a world of insects and reptiles, walkthrough aviary, butterfly corner, eight seminar halls, mini auditorium and musical fountain.
Science City is open on all days from 09:00 to 21:00 hrs. Opposite to this center is Energy Education Park. The nearest railway stations are Howrah Railway Station and Sealdah Railway Station.
