Sayakhed




Sayakhed is a small town near the banks of Aran River, hardly 10 km to the south-east of Darwha, in Yavatmal District. Yavatmal is situated about 45 km north-east of Sayakhed.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary are suitable getaways in the wilderness, ideal for a single-day excursion. Mahadeo Temple in Moho village, Chintamani of Kalamb, Shri Ranganath Swami Temple at Wani, Sahstrakund Waterfalls, the Jain pilgrim site of Karanja and Shreekshetra Pohradevi are other tourist options available in the neighborhood.

Sonegaon Airport and Darwha Railway Station serve Sayakhed.
