Saute Ganapati Temple




Saute Ganapati Temple is in Kokkad of Belthangady Taluk. It enshrines the idol of Lord Ganesh under a tree called ‘Saute tadak’. The cattle grazers of this village present ‘Saute’ as offerings to this Ganapati. Saute in Tulu language means cucumber.
