Saunshi

Located 30 km south-east of Hubli, Saunshi is a small town in Dharwad District of Karnataka.

The biggest reservoir in Dharwad District, said to be constructed during the dawn of 20th century, is a major attraction of Saunshi. Brahamanand Mutt is a spiritual center located here.

Shirguppi (17 km north), Mulgund (25 km east), Kundgol and Gudgeri are nearby towns.

Nearest airport is Hubli Airport. Saunshi Railway Station is on Hubli-Yalvigi rail route. The major railhead nearby is Hubli Junction Railway Station.
