Sattankulam is a taluk headquarters town in the southern side of Tuticorin District, Tamil Nadu. It is surrounded by Vijayanarayanam in the west, Nazareth in the north, Megnanapuram and Udankudi in the east and Tisiyanvilai in the south.
Alwar Tirunagari is a well known Vaishnavite center at about 17 km away. Kayalpatnam, Tiruchendur, Kulasekarapattinam and Manapad are tourist destinations that are easily accessible from Sattankulam.
