Sati Chowk




Sati Chowk is a magnificent structure situated in the Pardhan Mand, in Jhunjhunu. Jhunjhunu, 180 km north of Jaipur, is the largest city in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan.

The striking feature of this edifice is its shikhara made of white marble. The chowk houses the famous shrine of Rani Satiji, which has the main sanctum. Beautifully decorated murals are also seen inside the building.

Other places of interest are Qamruddin Shah ki Darghah, Mertani Baori, Laxminath Temple, Khetan Haveli, Ishwardas Mohandas Haveli, Badal Garh, Birdhi Chand Well and Ajeet Sagar.
