Satheri



Satheri is a small village in Jansath taluk of Muzaffarnagar District. It is 22 km away from the district headquarters of Muzaffarnagar.

Khatauli, the nearest place of interest, has four Jain temples and a large sarai (palace), built by Shah Jahan. Jansath, a town famous as the home of the Jansath Saiyids, who held the chief power in the Delhi Empire during the early part of the eighteenth century, is to the north-east of it.

Khatauli Railway Station, at a distance of 4 km, and Indira Gandhi International Airport serve Satheri.
