Sasoma is located in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 6 km from
Kimi and lies at an altitude of 10,734 ft.
An ancient trading route passed through Sasoma and is famous for rock carving. Nubra River flows through the area. It is about 160 km north of Leh.
