Sarangkheda

Sarangkheda is a popular pilgrim center situated in Dhule District, Maharashtra. It is famous for the magnificent shrine of single faced Lord Dattatreya.

It is believed that the idol was brought from Mahurgad in Nanded District and is held here in deep reverence. The tall shikhar of the shrine, which overlooks the village, is worth a visit.

A big fair held on Margahsirsha Poornima, to celebrate the birth of Lord Dattatreya, is a major draw.

The place can be reached from the Dhule Bus Station.
