Saranga




Saranga is a town in Howrah District of West Bengal. It lies about 14 km south-west of Howrah, close to Sankrail. The Hooghly River flows in its eastern side.

Indian Botanic Garden, Central National Herbarium, Howrah Bridge, Belur Mutt, Bally Bridge and Santragachi Jheel are tourist attractions in the region.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Nalpur Railway Station are the nearest airport and railhead respectively.
