Situated on the bank of
Krishna River, Saptasagar is an ideal picnic spot. It is about 60 km from
Gokak, in
Belgaum District of
Karnataka. Hundreds of
shivlings have been engraved on the rocks in the river bed.
The village has a biodiversity worth studying with fauna such as peacocks, owls, kembhoota, monkeys, foxes and rabbits.
