Sanwer

Sanwer is one of the prominent towns in Indore District, Madhya Pradesh. It lies on the banks of the Gambhiri River, about 30 km north of Indore and around 25 km south of the holy city, Ujjain.

Dewas is a famous tourist destination located about 20 km east of Sanwer. Mahakaleshwara Temple, Bhartrihari Caves and Shri Avanti Parshwanath Teerth at Ujjain and Sukh Niwas Palace at Indore are tourist spots outside the town.

Nearest airport is at Indore. Indore Junction BG Railway Station and Indore Junction MG Railway Station serve the town.
