Santeri Temple, also known as Bhumika Temple, is the Mother Earth temple located at
Keri in
North Goa District. Mother Earth is symbolized by ten feet (or more in height) of an ant hill (Varul in local language).
Devotees believe that a cobra lives inside. Some villagers argue to have seen the cobra. There is no incident of it causing hurt to any devotee.
Keri is about 76 km from Panaji, the capital city of Goa.
