Founded in 1997, Sanskriti is a voluntary organization at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. It provides services to under privileged children, particularly those who are born with chronic heart problems.
Financially backward children are assisted in open-heart surgeries and heart valve replacements. The organization supports children in education with the aid of scholarships. It also supports persons who are suffering from natural calamities such as earthquakes and cyclones. Food is served to street children. Rural level health check-ups, immunization camps against Hepatitis B and nutrition programs are conducted. To raise funds, Sanskriti organizes exhibitions, movie shows, stage performances and cultural programs.
