Sanjay Lake

Developed by Delhi Development Authority in 1970, Sanjay Lake is an artificial lake located at Mayur Vihar in Delhi. The main water source is the sewer and rainwater from the adjoining areas. This lake offers excellent boating facilities to the visitors. Green lawns and gardens have been developed around the park. This complex is also famous for a variety of indigenous trees and plants. Inside the park there is a well-laid fitness track for joggers. The lake and the garden spread over an area of about 38 acres.

Indira Gandhi International Airport is the nearest airport. Buses, taxis and autorikshaws are available for local transport.
