Sangeet Chakra is an Indian classical musical training organization in
Hooghly. It was established in 1956 at Sri Chatterjee's residence with an objective of promoting and propagating Indian classical music.
Sangeet Chakra established its musical school, Sangeet Bhawan, in 1962. Affiliated to the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow and
Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, the school provides training in vocal, instrumental and dance.
Annual conferences are regularly held in the month of January. Now,Sangeet Chakra is shifted to its building on the banks of the Hooghly River. The Hooghly Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
