Sangam




Sangam is a picturesque village situated at an elevation of around 3,680 m in Lahaul and Spiti District, Himachal Pradesh. It is located 17 km from Mud, on the Pin Parvati Pass trek route, at the confluence of Pin and Parhio rivers. Sangam is the largest village in the Pin Valley. It is surrounded by lush green forests and jagged peaks. Chinpatta Maidan, Dhankar Monastery, Mantalai Lake, Kungri Monastery, Mikkim, Tabo Monastery, Attargo and Dhankar are nearby tourist destinations. Sangam is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Base camps are available.

Nearest airport is at Bhuntar. Joginder Nagar Railway Station is the nearest railway station. By road, Sangam is connected to Kaza.
