Sangam is located 35 km north-east of
Srinagar in
Jammu and Kashmir. It is a center for production of cricket bats. Famous for its strong local industry of cricket bat manufacturing, thousands of cricket bats can be seen here displayed by the roadside.
Sangam is accessible on the strategic Srinagar - Jammu national highway. The nearest railhead is Jammu Tawi Railway Station and the airport is Srinagar Airport.
