Sandeepany Sadhanalaya Mumbai




Established in 1961, Sandeepany Sadhanalaya is a modern Gurukul situated amidst 7 acre of charming surroundings, near the Powai Lake, in the outskirts of Mumbai. Dedicated to Lord Jagadeeshwara, the Gurukul works as a training ground for future Chinmaya Mission teachers. Two to 2.5 year residential Vedanta course is conducted in English. The course covers Vedic chanting, meditation, the Vedanta - Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, the works of Sri Shankaracharya and Sri Vidyaranya, Sanskrit and epic literature such as Ramayana and Mahabharata.
