Samandin




Samandin is a small forest village located in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. It is a trekker’s paradise on the Phalut-Sandakphu trek. The entire route is bordered by the virgin forests of chestnut, pines and hemlock.

Samandin is a lovely plateau and a tourist spot. Nearby tourist attraction is the Gorkhey Khola - the meeting of two streams. A one and half hour trek from Samandin leads to Rammam.

By road, Samandin can be approached from Darjeeling via Phalut.
