Samadhan, a registered non-governmental organization, started its activities in 1981 at
New Delhi. It aims to work with the mentally handicapped children living in slums or camps. They have established day care centres and provide services through a team of multidisciplinary specialists.
Centre based programs include early intervention, special education, vocational training unit and drama therapy. Along with centre based programs, several community based programs are also offered.
