Salugara Monastery, 6 km away from
Siliguri, is a sacred destination. The highlight here is a one hundred foot
stupa built by Kalu Rinpoche, the Tibetan Lama. It contains five types of relics and is an object of veneration which will bring liberation to any one who sees it.
