Salabhasana




Salabhasana strengthens spine, buttocks and backs of the arms and legs. The asana stretches the shoulders, chest, belly and thighs. It stimulates abdominal organs and helps to relieve stress.

In the word Salabhasana, 'salabha' stands for 'grasshopper' or 'locust.' Salabhasana means 'locust pose.'
