Sahiba




Sahiba, a historic village, is in Nawan Shehar District of Punjab. Founded by Rana Sahib Chand in 1522, this scenic hamlet lies on the Nawan Shehar-Chandigarh road.

There is a senior secondary school, a post office and a veterinary hospital. Ram Leela and Hola Mohalla are the main festivals celebrated here.

Some prominent attractions around this village include Takhni-Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary, Phillaur Fort and Manakpur Sharif.

Nawan Shehar Railway Station serves this area. The nearest international airport is at Amritsar.
