Sahasrakund lies en route from Himayatnagar to Chikli, in Nanded District. Shivni is situated south-east of Sahasrakund and Murali in Yavatmal District lies towards north.

Hyderabad Airport and Sonegaon Airport serve Sahasrakund. Sahasrakund Railway Station is on the Nanded – Adilabad line of the South Central Railways.
